General Advice and Things You Should Know about Ozone Deodorant

Ozone Layer Deodorant, the alternative oxygen-based deodorant, is made from African shea butter and beeswax infused with medical grade oxygen and ozone. It’s all natural, aluminum free with no parabens, propylene glycol, or synthetic fragrances. Essential oils are used to lightly fragrance the deodorants and you can choose from a variety of different scents! Ozone Deodorant is currently made every day in Kure Beach by the two founders of the company. This product also comes with a 30-day money back guarantee!

A Couple Things You Should Know..

It’s pretty rare for someone to be allergic to shea butter or beeswax, but it is possible.  While the chances of breaking out while Ozone Deodorant is slim, some people have sensitivity to essential oils, which can cause a small rash. If this is the case for you, then I would recommend trying the Unscented Ozone Deodorant!

People have different senses of smell, so the fragrances can smell different from one person to the next. Each deodorant has shea butter and beeswax infused with medical grade oxygen, so you will smell these scents along with the essential oil fragrance you choose. Don’t expect a heavy scent from your deodorant. It’s made to be applied lightly so none of the fragrances are overpowering.

Everybody has different body chemistries, so a product that works well for one person may not work the same for another person. While there isn’t much we can do to change our body chemistry, believe it or not, one thing that affects the way we smell is our diet. Our diet plays a role in our body chemistry so eating a lot of certain kinds of foods, such as garlic and cruciferous vegetables, can affect the smell of our body odor.

Here’s a little article about how diet affects body odor: http://health.howstuffworks.com/wellness/men/sweating-odor/diet-affect-body-odor.htm

When using other natural deodorants, some say you need to have a “detox” period to allow the chemicals and such to leave your body. With Ozone Deodorant, you don’t really need that since our deodorant kills the bacteria that cause body odor while still allowing you to sweat out the bad stuff.

I will say there may be a little “adjustment” period when switching to Ozone Deodorant, especially when switching from an antiperspirant. Since Ozone Deodorant is only a deodorant, you will still sweat BUT you are guaranteed not to smell! Sweating is natural and also very good for your body. (Here’s 7 Reasons Why Sweating is Good: http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/health/sweat-health-benefits/?page=1) It only takes a few days to get used to the feel and then you won’t even notice!

When first trying Ozone Deodorant, you should allow yourself to wear it at least a week before deciding whether you like it or not. Remember that you have a 30-day money back guarantee so you might as well give it a shot!

Hello. Is your Shea butter and beeswax ethically sourced? Can you tell me, without proprietary information, how oxygen is stable in the mix? Any danger from offgassing (regular ozone is questionable safety wise). Sorry for the dumb question, just trying to understand. Also, save for tweens? Thanks for your time.
